Seller Terms & Conditions
By registering as a seller and listing Products/services, you agree to the following:
1Seller Eligibility
You must be a legally registered business/entity under applicable Indian laws. You agree to provide accurate business information, including GST details, PAN, and bank account information to buyers.
2Product Listings
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all listings are accurate, including pricing, descriptions, specifications, and images. Misrepresentation or sale of counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited items is strictly prohibited and may lead to account suspension. Listings must comply with policies and all applicable laws (e.g., Consumer Protection Act, 2019).
3Pricing & Taxes
Sellers are free to set their prices but must clearly indicate if GST is included or excluded. You are responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes.
4Order Fulfillment
Sellers must honor all confirmed orders unless stock is unavailable or there is a genuine error. Orders must be shipped in a timely manner with proper packaging and tracking details. Cancellations or delays should be promptly communicated to the buyer.
5Returns & Refunds
Sellers must clearly state their return/refund policy on the product page. In case of damaged, defective, or misrepresented items, sellers are expected to accept returns and issue refunds or replacements in compliance with consumer law.
6Intellectual Property
Sellers must own or have permission to use all content (text, images, trademarks) they upload. ASSAM BAMBOO MART is not liable for any infringement caused by seller content.
7Communication & Conduct
Sellers must maintain professional conduct while communicating with buyers. Any form of abusive language, false advertising, or fraudulent activity may result in suspension.
8Platform Usage
ASSAM BAMBOO MART provides the platform for listing and lead generation but does not guarantee sales or payment collection.
9Fees & Charges
ASSAM BAMBOO MART may charge nominal fees for listing. These will be disclosed upfront and must be paid as agreed. Failure to pay applicable service charges may lead to restrictions or termination of the seller account.
10Account Suspension & Termination
ASSAM BAMBOO MART reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts for violations of these Terms or applicable law. Sellers may deactivate their account at any time by providing written notice.
11Limitation of Liability
ASSAM BAMBOO MART is not liable for disputes between buyer and seller, delivery issues, or payment defaults unless explicitly covered by a service agreement. Sellers indemnify ASSAM BAMBOO MART from any claims arising from their listings or sales.
12Amendments
ASSAM BAMBOO MART may update these Terms at its discretion. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
13Acknowledgement
By registering as a seller on ASSAM BAMBOO MART, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Buyer Terms & Conditions
By using ASSAM BAMBOO MART as a buyer, you agree to the following:
1Eligibility
Buyers may be individuals, businesses, or institutions making inquiries or purchases in a commercial or personal capacity.
2Platform Role
ASSAM BAMBOO MART is a marketplace/intermediary platform that connects buyers with independent sellers. It does not manufacture, store, or directly sell products. ASSAM BAMBOO MART is not a party to any sale agreement between buyers and sellers and does not assume responsibility for the performance or conduct of sellers.
3Product Listings
Information such as product descriptions, prices, specifications, and availability is provided by the sellers. Buyers are advised to verify all product details directly with the seller before making a purchasing decision.
4Orders & Payments
ASSAM BAMBOO MART may facilitate lead generation or direct inquiries but does not process payments. Payment terms, methods, and timelines are to be agreed upon between the buyer and seller.
5Shipping & Delivery
Shipping charges, delivery timelines, and logistics terms must be confirmed directly with the seller. ASSAM BAMBOO MART does not guarantee delivery timelines, product quality, or availability.
6Returns, Refunds & Disputes
Return, replacement, and refund policies are determined by the seller. Buyers must confirm these before placing an order. In case of disputes regarding product quality, non-delivery, or other issues, ASSAM BAMBOO MART may offer limited dispute resolution support, but ultimate responsibility lies with the seller. Buyers are advised to keep records of all communication and invoices.
7Conduct & Communication
Buyers must refrain from using offensive language, making fraudulent inquiries, or misusing seller contact information. ASSAM BAMBOO MART reserves the right to restrict access for misuse or misconduct.
8Intellectual Property
All logos, trademarks, and content on the Platform are the intellectual property of ASSAM BAMBOO MART or respective third parties (sellers) and cannot be copied or reproduced without authorization.
9Limitation of Liability
ASSAM BAMBOO MART shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of buyer transactions with sellers. ASSAM BAMBOO MART's role is limited to providing a digital space for discovery and communication.
10Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Guwahati.
11Customer Complaints
Assam State Bamboo Mission/ ASSAM BAMBOO MART will not be liable for any quality issues. Customer's complaints will be handled by the seller.
12Modifications
ASSAM BAMBOO MART may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13Acknowledgement
By continuing to use the ASSAM BAMBOO MART platform and engaging with sellers, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Buyer Terms & Conditions.
